Couture Animations

Posted on July 14th, 2008 in Modavia Supermodels by Keely LeFavre

Testing… Testing…1,2.. OK, I think this thing is on now. Wow its been so long since I’ve made a post on any of my blogs I’m not sure if I remember how to do this but I’ll give it a go.I’ve not been on recently because of RL commitments and when I am here I’m completely absorbed by the opening of “Couture Animations”. Before that I was helping to organise a series of charity events in-world for the “Maseno Project”. A Charity benefiting a orphanage in Kenya that takes in orphans who have or parent’s died from AIDs. It is a great cause and I’m beyond honored that I was allowed to be a part of it. We raised over 2,000USD for the orphanage through the charity of some big hearted designers, models, and of course the great people of SL.

After the charity events were completed, I began focusing intensely on my posing store. I wanted to create poses that are more reminiscent of RL high fashion magazines. As well as, having a place to create custom runway poses and walks. All of my poses are priority 4 and most are ease in/out. My future goal is to create custom runway walk animations for models and runway poses. I’m in the process of beginning that now. It should be revolutionary.

Here are some of the pose packs I created for my store opening and I have some free poses as gifts available in front of the store. But click the picture to see all the poses these are just a few.

Maseno Charity Fashion Show and Auction: Post-Show notes

It was an incredible weekend. The Charity fashion show went beautifully. I was thrilled with the results the models were great despite all of the many attachment issues. But regardless of the fantastic clothes and great production, what really touched me where the people. People really opened up their heart to this cause; it was so moving I was shaking by the generosity of everyone who attended. We raised a grand total of $317, 586L that day all of which will go directly to the people of the Maseno Orphanage. Abbie has had a trip planned to Kenya for a few months, she’ll be leaving July 1st, and we’ve decided to do one more charity show towards the end of the month. Abbie’s going to take all of the money we raised directly to orphanage. It should be a very moving trip for her and I’m envious that I don’t get to see it as well, but all that matters is the good that is done. She’ll return to us with many pictures and notes from the children. I’m really looking forward to it.

Here is a fab group picture from the event. Follow this link to view all of the pictures taken by Greg Paslong.
