Photographer: Greg Paslong
With the recent trend in posting about photographers, it’s such a fluke that I met a new photographer this week that’s just amazing. When I say new, I mostly mean new to me since he’s in SL since 2006 and has shot over 175 models so far. Here’s my little story on how we met: On Wednesday, I met up with our very own DJ Azu at a housewarming party for Sabein Streeter in Costa Rica. The house was GORGEOUS and the music had me dancing around the room. Towards the end of the party I ran into Greg Paslong after chatting for a bit we began talking about his photography and he kindly offered to shot me. Since I’m a complete camera-whore and relish any opportunity to have photos taken of myself I instantly agreed.
Upon entering Greg’s studio, I saw a lot of his previous work I was instantly impressed and extremely shocked I hadn’t heard of his work before. Before he began shooting, we talked for a while about his recent projects and his inspirations. He conveyed his desire to show models in what he said was their “complete unedited beauty”. In other words, he does not photoshop or edit photos often even so the results are STUNNING. The composition, the angels, the lighting all wonderfully thought out. You get a strong sense of how seriously he takes his work and how passionate he is about it. Such talent and commitment is actually fairly rare to find in SL. So when it’s found, you can either keep it a secret or share the wealth. Here is a small collection of the pictures we took:
If you want to have your pictures taken by Greg Paslong, Search for him in-world. He’s ususally around and loves to shoot photos.
That’s all for now…

After many days of considering the possibility of designing clothes for men, Valenttina Carfagno finally decided to help expand the male wardrobe in Second Life.
This is the Blue White Stripe Polo, available on jacket and shirt layers. As I mentioned earlier, Valenttina is known for her vividness in colors which can be seen on all her shirts. There was another combination that really caught my attention. The “Casablanca Top” is a very light sweater, which can be used in semi-formal and casual settings. I tried it out with Gabardina Grey Pants to get more of a casual look. I recommend you try it out with ever pair of pants you have and see the differences.
